So the Canon 500d is one of the fisrt smaller DSLR's of the EOS series to feature full HD recording. basically imagine 12+ megapixel quality in video form, here are a few examples from youtube with pursuaded me to buy the camera.

COMM TECH

This is my first project of year 2. Comm tech. The idea of the brief is to learn something that will aid us in future projects.

For the brief, everything has fallen in my favour as over summer i saved up for a new camera, a canon 500d, my first step into high definition.

I must say everything about shooting on a DSLR is different, it's not so much point and shoot as a regular camcorder, more such every shot, must be planned, focused manually and so on.

A few months in, i have purchased a few new lenses for the camera, One being a CANON 50MM 1:8 and the other an Opteka 6.5mm Fisheye lens.

So over this module i am going to post my Outcomes of getting to grips with a new camera!
